What is a sexologist?
A sexologist specializes in human sexuality and sexual behavior. A certified sexologist has completed 500 hours of formal training in human sexuality. A sexologist with a Masters or Doctorate degree has completed more than 3000 hours of formal training. A sexologist views human sexuality from a multi-disciplinary, systemic, and multi-faceted perspective.
As a sexologist I study sex ….. I study people’s sexual behaviors, feelings and interactions. It is my job to help people learn about their sexuality, become more comfortable with it and feel good about expressing themselves sexually.
Sexology is the scientific study of sex. It is an interdisciplinary field that encompasses the areas of psychology, sociology, medicine, anthropology, biology and more. As a sexologist I have received extensive education and training in the field of human sexuality. I am continually accessing the latest research in human sexuality to build my knowledge and understanding in an effort to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information.
What is sex and relationship coaching?
My coaching practice combines my passionate interest in authentic relationships and sex, along with a decade of experience as a dancer and teacher. I also have extensive academic training and my Doctorate in Human Sexuality from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. My coaching practice can offer you solid education, a compassionate spirit, and the ability to help you transform your life. I support clients in finding and maintaining successful relationships through learning to know and love themselves first. I help people develop communication skills, overcome intimacy challenges, improve their confidence and learn to enjoy their authentic sexual selves.
As a confident and sexual woman, my passion and desire is to help people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds to overcome their fears and taboos. I help people discover their own sexuality and find the power that comes from self-awareness. As you learn about yourself, you can identify and remove your barriers to intimacy. This will enable you to experience more authentic love for yourself and others. I am dedicated to helping my diverse base of clients from singles and couples, to organizations and academic institutions. I am devoted to keeping it real with a straightforward, yet compassionate style. Let me help you learn more about your sexuality and overcome any obstacles standing in your way, preventing greater happiness.
What kind of training do you have?
I have my Doctorate in Human Sexuality as well as certificates in sex education, clinical sexology, and erotology from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS) in San Francisco. I am board certified by the American College of Sexologists (ACS). Read more about me here.
How will I know if you are the right coach for me?
Make an appointment and let’s talk. I am confident that you will know right away whether I can help you. I believe that the better you feel about yourself, the better relationships you’ll have with your partners, friends, and family. We may focus on sexuality, but the skills you will learn apply far beyond the bedroom. My goal is that you will become more confident and in tune with yourself sexually. That feeling of confidence will improve your life in many ways.

Can you give me advice or answers through email?
Yes, I have many clients that work with me primarily through email. They are able to ask me questions, and get valuable advice. My time is valuable, so I charge a basic fee to provide you the best possible, and least expensive option.
After I receive the payment I will send you a sexual history questionnaire. This will help me get to know you and your needs in order to create an action plan for this new and exciting chapter in your life.

What is your cancellation policy?
In order to best serve clients, I value your time. In order to establish a good relationship, I ask that you do the same for me. If you need to cancel an appointment, there is a 24 hour cancellation policy, with no charge.
If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance, there will be a $50 charge. If you miss an appointment or cancel with short notice, you will be charged the full appointment amount.
